Training for situations where skills decide
Plenty of people own a firearm or work with one — and most have had only basic instruction. That's not enough for safe, confident weapon handling under stress. Our courses aren't sport shooting: we build correct habits, technical certainty and decision-making in conditions as close to reality as we can make them.
How the modules build on each other
The system has two tracks — pistol and rifle. Each track has a fundamentals and an advanced level, the tracks merge at Level 3, and the tactical module sits at the top. You join wherever your experience puts you; the combined Level 3 assumes fundamentals with both weapons.
Level 1 — Fundamentals (choose your track)
Pistol Fundamentals · handgun: safety rules, proper grip, sight alignment and basic shooting technique. Theory plus range practice, for complete beginners.
Rifle Fundamentals · long gun: handling, safe control and marksmanship with your primary weapon system.
Level 2 — Advanced (continue in your track)
Advanced Pistol · shooting on the move, working with cover, dynamic scenarios testing reaction time, accuracy and decision-making under pressure. Prerequisite: pistol Level 1 or equivalent experience.
Advanced Rifle · position changes, movement while shooting, more complex drills and real-world scenarios. Prerequisite: rifle Level 1 or equivalent experience.
Level 3 — Both weapons combined
Weapon Transition · transitions between rifle and pistol, effective use of both weapon types. Prerequisite: fundamentals in both tracks (Level 1 pistol and rifle).
Level 4 — Top of the system
Applied Tactics · safe individual and small-team movement, communication, cover, spatial orientation — shooting connected with tactics. Prerequisite: Advanced Pistol + Advanced Rifle.

What people ask us
Do I need a firearms license?
No. Courses run under instructor supervision at a commercial shooting range, and you can rent a firearm for €35. License holders train with their own weapons.
Where do the courses take place?
At the AKIM shooting range in Znojmo (Oblekovická 480, South Moravian Region). For groups and companies we can also run training elsewhere in the Czech Republic.
I'm a complete beginner. Which module should I start with?
Pistol Fundamentals or Rifle Fundamentals — both are built for people holding a firearm for the first time. An instructor guides you from the safety rules to your first shots.
How much do the courses cost?
Pricing depends on the module and group size — write to info@dstactics.com and we'll send you the current price list. Firearm rental is €35. We are not VAT payers — prices are final.
Can you prepare me for the Czech firearms license exam?
Yes — practical preparation for the proficiency exam (handling, disassembly and reassembly, range commands, shooting) takes 1–2 hours. Book a date via strelniceznojmo.cz.
Do you teach in English or German?
Yes, we run all modules in English, German and Czech — for individuals and international groups.
